Mike Reiterman

Mike Reiterman currently serves as a professional Firefighter/Paramedic with the Norwich Township Fire Department, IAFF Local 1723, in Hilliard, Ohio; he has been with the department for the past 23 years. Mike was certified by the IAFF in 2018 as a peer supporter and serves his home department and the OAPFF in that capacity. He has struggled with alcohol addiction as well as anxiety and depression, as a member of Alcoholics Anonymous he has maintained his sobriety. In January 2020, he completed the Save-A-Warrior program and now volunteers with them by sponsoring individuals through various 12-step programs before they enter SAW and also serving as a "Shepherd" for current cohort groups. Mike's passion is this "To give back to my profession, to help address the suicide and mental health issues of our men and women. Through training and personal experience, I can help members find solutions to their "suffering". Mike lives in Powell, Ohio with his wife Rachel and his two stepchildren who he enjoys helping to raise. He also is the father of two adult boys.
