Professional Fire Fighter/EMT 19 years with the City of Hamilton. One of the main reasons for Miles’ involvement with the peer group is to give back to his Brothers and Sisters in the fire service for the backing and hours of support he was given after my own personal tragedy in 2006. Miles was lucky enough to have a sphere of influence outside the department with help in addiction, mental and family health issues outside the norm. He likes to think of the program as “Helping the Helpers, plain and simple.”
